CRANIO-SACRAL THERAPY
Cranio-sacral therapy uses suave administration of sensation to discharge tension between the bones of the head and spine. This is done because the region from the cranium to the top of the head to the sacrum (base of spine) has an energy system with its own subtle pulse. Tension blocks can affect the entire body.
This therapy is done for the head, spine and other regions so that tension will be diffused naturally and let the body's energy to flow in the direction it wants to. It does not involve pulling, rubbing or massage but a deep reassuring sensation to relax the body.
This treats:
- headaches
- migraines
- sinus problems
- stress
- posture related shoulder and back pain

DANCE THERAPY
Movement is an important means of non-verbal communication. One is encouraged to describe one's feelings through movements.
Therapists believe that as one eventually learns to open up, the
confidence increases and social interaction becomes easier. That is why dance therapy is used to promote body awareness, to relieve stress, to increase mobility, and to boost self-esteem. Sessions are held in groups which can initially be confrontational.

The cranial-sacral therapy feels sooooo good. During the time I lived in S. Korea, every type of healthy therapy was available - and I made the most of it. What a healthy culture.
And dance - yes, let's dance. While there, all my teaching colleagues were game to learn the electric slide so we danced and danced and danced. A therapy we can all do.
Looking forward to the next healthy hub!
